Driven by people. Guided by purpose.
Community ownership, inclusion and dignity are at the center of our work.
Built to respond, built to last.
Noble Community Agency for Peace and Development (NOCAPAD) was formed in August 2020 by professionals from different backgrounds in response to the challenges faced by adolescents, young people, women and households during the COVID-19 period.
NOCAPAD was incorporated with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau in July 2021 (Certificate of Incorporation No. 80020003192651). Its 2026 profile states that registration with the National NGO Bureau is in progress.
Today, the organization brings together community mobilization, advocacy, skills development, health, livelihoods, agroecology and peacebuilding through a participatory approach.

Grounded in local knowledge.
We bring community members, local leaders, service providers and partners together to design and deliver practical responses. Our work includes dialogue, training, referrals, advocacy, research and shared learning.
